Why has my account been sold?
The creditor will usually have made every effort to contact you either by letter or telephone.
If, however, the creditor was not aware of a change of details, then the creditor may have used old contact details when trying to reach you.
After purchasing your account, and before making contact with you, Lowell will make several attempts to validate up-to-date contact details with registered credit reference agencies so that we can notify you that we are the new owners of the account. We continue to verify your contact details on a regular basis.
