Who are Lowell?

Lowell are a debt purchaser that buys accounts from various companies and works with customers to arrange repayment of the outstanding balance.

Why has my account been returned to Lowell?

Lowell will have purchased your debt from your original creditor and our trusted collection partner, Fredrickson International Ltd, were managing your account on Lowell's behalf. However, to prevent delays and to ensure we can give you the best support possible, we've decided to deal with your account directly.

What do I need to do about my payments?

As you've been paying by Direct Debit instruction, we've arranged for it to be transferred to us. You don't need to do anything.

All of your previous payments have been forwarded to us and credited to your account. Future payments will be taken by us directly.

Don't worry, Fredrickson International Ltd are a part of Lowell and your bank details aren't being shared with any third parties. However, if you have any questions about the transfer, please contact us.

We understand that your circumstances may affect your ability to manage your accounts. Our team are trained to understand your circumstances and help you find the best solution.

If you have given Fredrickson permission to share information about your circumstances with us, we will be aware of your current situation.

If you have not given permission for information about your circumstances to be shared with us, your account will be noted as having special circumstances so that we can manage your account appropriately.

I have a dispute on this account. What will happen with that?

If you have an unresolved dispute on your account, it will be transferred to our team who will respond with a resolution as soon as possible.

I made a complaint to Fredrickson. What will happen with that?

Fredrickson will continue to investigate your complaint and will respond as soon as possible. If you want to discuss your complaint, you can call them on 0345 543 9907, or email complaints@freds.com.
